To provide the student with the basic knowledge to launch a career as a technician, equipped with the skills required to diagnose, disassemble, inspect, repair and overhaul popular makes of diesel engines, fuel systems, electrical charging, starting, lighting and control systems, drive train, brakes, steering and suspension systems used on trucks, marine, industrial and other applications.
